Now I have had a look at your pages for The Cunning Little Vixen. Their assembly seems to have progressed relatively fast. The images are excellent and clear in every detail. Most absorbing are the set designs.

Da Sie leider kein Gästebuch auf Ihrer Seite haben, muß ich mein Statement auf diesem Weg loswerden.

Das Layout Ihrer Seite ist in meinen Augen ein klasse Beispiel dafür, mit wie wenig man ungeheuer viel erreichen kann. Nicht nur, daß es die Seite "leicht bedienbar" macht, es verleiht ihr auch eine ganz eigne Ästhetik und somit ihre Persönlichkeit, durch welche sie in meinen Augen erst interessant und lebending wird!

Since, unfortunately, you do not have a guest book on your web page, I need to deliver my statement via this note.

In my view, the layout of your web page is a splendid example of how little is required to achieve a tremendous amount. Not only does it render the page user-friendly, but it also imparts to it its very own aesthetics and thus its personal flair which, I feel, is the only way of making it interesting and lively!

PS: Personally, I merely wished for a way of enlarging the photographs in their respective categories so as to detect the finer details, which surely are present.

Conscious of structuring this website user-friendly, we relayed to Mr Mage which criteria we are striving to observe to make the Archive's online publication as accessible and effective as possible.

Concerning the viewing of details, we explained that this website is very much in its infancy and therefore by no means complete. Before we could concentrate on providing enlarged images, we had to install rudimentary alphabetical indices and small preview images first.

We pointed out that a range of images displayed on completed (!) production pages, as for The Cunning Little Vixen, can indeed be enlarged to view details. A number of individual Set Designs are also linked to detailed full-screen images. In the process of establishing expanded tableaux for each production, many more full-screen images rich in detail will be added eventually. It is our objective to show as many designs as feasible to provide a well-chosen cross selection of Barry Kay's enormous artistic output. The sheer volume however exceeds the scope of this publication, so that not all designs on display can be enlarged for close-up viewing of details.
